'''Wassenaar''' (population: 25,506 in 2004) is a town in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. The municipality covers an area of 62.50 km² (of which 11.65 km² is covered by water). Prince Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, his wife Máxima Zorreguieta and their daughter Amalia live in villa Eikenhorst at the estate De Horsten.
